You’ve heard it: ‘Ask and you shall receive’. Whether you trust this saying because of your spiritual beliefs or your faith in the Law of Attraction, you must also believe in your ability to orchestrate the reality you want to achieve.
Asking does not always lead to receiving. There is a fundamental step in the middle. When you ask for a specific outcome, you must also decide, intend, commit, believe, and (of course) take action. Then, and only then, the law of attraction, your environment, the universe or whatever else you believe takes place, will bring you the things you desire.
This middle step is the one of ‘Inspired Action’. One who carries out inspired action makes a commitment to outcomes which are in synchronicity with their true purpose and passion. Inspired action is only achievable while pursuing our own meaningful and genuine goals, through personal empowerment, and through harnessing a strong drive from within.
Inspired action must be carried out with the intention to receive. In fact, the very first step of asking must be made with this intention. At this early stage of asking, deciding and committing, it doesn’t matter if you don’t know ‘how’ you or the universe will produce what you ask for – as long as you have faith in it being produced, someway, somehow.
Action, no matter how massive or consistent, has no power of attraction without inspiration, purpose, intention, vision and integrity. Creating abundance, success, wealth, happiness and love is not about hard work. It’s about meaningful and inspired action.
So when you throw out a request for the universe to create a new reality for you, whether it is for prosperity, success or anything else, think about whether what you are asking for has true meaning and purpose. Measure your intention. Question your integrity. Build your expectation. Follow your passion. Harness your inspiration. And as a result, your consistent inspired action will impact positively on the universe and allow you to receive.
Please do share your comments below! What does inspired action mean to you? What do you ask for? What do you receive? Do you work and live according to your true purpose and passion? How do you integrate inspired action in your online business?

Hi Justine,
Wonderful post and I totally get it about inspired action. I recently read Napoleon Hill’s book The Master Key to Riches which talks about taking inspired action. I think so many people get hung up on the law of attraction stuff and expect wonderful things to come to them, without them doing anything to make that happen. I know for myself, when I’m taking inspired action, moving forward, the answers to my questions appear, my ideas flow, and I see the results I’m intending.
Great job!

Hi Heather,
So true, many people rely a little too much on the power of the mind, and forget the power of action! When everything is in flow, mind, body and spirit, and inspired action, positive things do happen and results are created!
Thanks very much for your comment!

Hi Justine,
This is a great post! For me, inspired action is doing what I love to do. I have learned to focus on what I’m good at and what I am passionate about and have hired someone to do all the things I don’t really enjoy or that I’m not proficient at doing.
That way, the things I am doing don’t seem like work. I think that’s the way life should be lived, by doing what you love to do and having the excitement to take inspired action.
Have a great weekend!!!

Hi Karen,
Well said! When we truly love what we do, the perceived effort is so much less, and tenacity comes naturally. I have certainly found myself taking on more than only the things I love doing, and am slowly learning to let go of the control (I do like to be in charge!) and outsource the things that I either dislike or that are not the best use of my resources and talents.
Thanks so much for your comment!

I love your post Justine. I have the same thoughts on inspired action as Karen. Doing what I love to do.
For me I also get in my own way figuring out the hows too much, rather than just allowing.
Thanks Justine.

Hi Sue,
Thank you for your comment, and for the important reminder about allowing – with inspired action, we also need to be open to receive! Thanks again!
