What we do for a living, whether we have an online business or a job, will always be a question of interest for our friends, family and even perfect strangers. The usual “How’s work?” is a favourite catch-up and

icebreaker.
But when you launch yourself in network marketing (and most of your friends and family think you’re crazy for doing so), the question “How is your business going?” can be a tricky one to answer.
As a disillusioned or struggling network marketer (most of us have been there to some degre
e!), it’s hard to admit to others that you haven’t yet realised the success you anticipated. Even worse
when you had told everyone that you would become a millionaire and hugely renowned online entrepreneur!
The fact is, you don’t need to admit or explain anything. The first reaction most people have is to JUSTIFY their lack of success. While you are putting yourself down and focusing your mind on counterproductive thoughts, you are also completely missing the opportunity to share what you love about your business, how much you are learning and growing as an online business owner, how much personal power you have gained over your future, how much freedom your are creating for yourself, and all the other opportunities you are creating for yourself and others around you for success and prosperity.
Isn’t that good enough to share? You’d still rather mumble something like: “Well, I’m not making much money out of it but I’m working really hard. I’ll get there I guess, one day…”.
So here’s your challenge. Stop dwelling on the negatives and engaging in personal justification for your lack and deficiencies. Next time someone asks you “How’s your business going”, find something positive and empowering to say! What are you excited about? What do you love about your business? Why are you doing this? How much have you grown, personally and professionally? What are your goals?
Be-Do-Have. Be the person you want to be NOW. Be confident. Be positive. Be empowered. Be inspired. Feed your mind with the good stuff, and take massive action.
It’s the only way.
