How can we cultivate and grow our desires so that they can induce the same level of committed actions that our needs do?
How can we really tap into our desires to achieve our greatest goals, or how can we build up our desires to the point where we feel that we absolutely must fulfill them and really feel bound to realise them?

Hello Justine,
Nice post… so true, if you don’t have a burning desire, it’s just wishful thinking. Your dreams must have desire, and the stronger the desire the better (burning desire). It’s all about mindset, vision, and focus.
I’m really glad I dropped by.

Hi Coach Freddie!
I agree, wishful thinking doesn’t generate the actions and persistence required to achieve great goals. When our goals truly mean something to us and are in line with our true self, then we can focus and achieve anything!
Thanks so much for your comment!

Hi Justine! I loved how you pointed out creating unecessary to necessary and how we must pin point what we want. Those two stood out because I have cultivated both of those within my life and business goals. It is truly beneficial to have an understanding what it takes to cultivate burning desires, in addition a higher level of consciousness to bring us to successfully achieving them.
Awesome post! Thank you!

Hi Jenn,
I always love your comments, you have so much energy in what you share here and on your personal blog too! Being crystal clear about our goals is indeed one of the crucial steps, and making sure that these goals are attached to burning desires is what causes us to be persistent, tenacious and patient in achieving them!
Congratulations on your success and personal enlightenment!

Hi Justine,
Enjoyed your post. It is amazing what we can naturally have as a SET PASSION, while other things are not. Once i have identified a burning desire, I try to set my FOCUS on that desire by putting it in the forefront of my thoughts and daily activities. Pinning it up on the wall in front of my computer or on the refrigerator, keeps the desire remembered.
Now, I can allow my mind to passionately and subconsciously think about it and start developing a positive “I Can” plan of action.
Lovely site! I am revamping mine now to be more user friendly….
Best,
Joe

Hi Joe,
You are so right – the best way to harness cultivating desires is by clearly identifying them, defining them, and cultivating them through consciousness, focus and action! Thanks for your great comment!

I love your work Justine. I know you know that Burning Desire is the starting point of all achievement! There’s a line in Napoleon Hill’s book that goes like this… “The turning point in the lives of those who succeed usually comes at the moment of some crisis, through which they are introduced to their ‘other selves’… that point is reached only when fighting for a burning desire that’s worth dying for.

Hi Drew,
This is so true, we often hear of defined moments in people lives when they get clear on their burning desires, establish their unconditional commitment, and reach a point of no turning back. This in turns allows to grow into that person that makes desires reality.
Thanks so much for your comment!

Hi Nellwyn,
So true! I think we all have the ability to grow our desires and determination, and to harness our mindset, to become one of those people who do have great success! It’s a matter of realising how powerful we can become in creating success for ourselves…
Thank you for your comment, it is truly appreciated

Hi Justine,
Some great ideas being put across here. I just finished re-reading Think and Grow Rich myself and the section on creating a burning desire was one of my favourites. I love the way you have presented it here.
Keep up the awesome work.
